Watson’s Mine Shafts
Tuesday 29th October 1833
We find and present the lead mine shafts belonging to the said William Watson on Heathfield Moor as being in a very dangerous state and we lay a paine of one sovereign upon each shaft if the same are not filled up or properly protected with fences within three months from this day.
Tuesday 28th October 1834
We find that the mine shafts on Heathfield Moor belonging to the said William Watson are still in a dangerous state and we lay a paine of two sovereigns upon the said William Watson if the same are not filled up within three months from this day.
