A Virtual Tour of Sowerby in 1913
The photograph was taken by Thomas Heap in 1913 from the top of St Peter's Church tower looking west. Thomas formerly lived at Church Terrace in Sowerby and was a friend of the local postman, Levi Haigh, and followed him on his rounds taking photograph of the village.
